Team Korey is comprised of like-minded athletes generating funds and awareness on behalf of Camp Korey at Carnation Farm. Driven by Camp Korey’s mission to provide free-of-charge, transformative camp experiences for children living with serious medical conditions, individuals challenge themselves through athletic events and fundraising goals.

Meet some Team Korey members:

As a member of Camp Korey’s Board of Directors, Chris McReynolds (pictured above) is wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting our mission. Chris spearheaded Team Korey’s involvement in the 2011 NYC Marathon, with the original goal of recruiting 10 teammates. Exceeding all expectations, Chris is now joined by 30 additional athletes running to make a difference. Thank you, Chris!

“I have been running for about four years and love it! I am supporting Camp Korey because of the great experience it provides kids who desperately need a good experience.”
- Mike Wampold (Seattle, WA)

“I am very proud to run for Camp Korey. As a mother of two and one who navigated through my son’s illnesses during his first year, it is a privilege for me to help support the kids in having this camp experience.”
- Susan Marinello (Mercer Island, WA)

Paul Harshman is a jazz educator at Lakeside School and is founder/director of the Music Works Jazz Orchestra. Paul still holds five of Central Washington University’s college track and field records, and placed second in the 1994 Seattle Marathon. His fastest marathon time was 2:22 (Las Vegas, 1991). Fun fact: Paul’s wife, Michelle Poole, designed the Camp Korey logo!
