Team Korey athletes are training hard this fall for the TCS New York City Marathon, dedicating their run to Camp Korey and making every mile count. Each runner has a personal goal to not only finish the 26.2 mile run, but to raise $3,500 or more for the camp. The 2015 TCS New York City Marathon will take place on Sunday, November 1, but the fundraising for each athlete is already underway. Members of Team Korey are reaching out to their local community for sponsorships, donations and support online, in person and through special events. “Each Team Korey athlete is dedicated to helping more children experience the joy and adventure found at Camp Korey, always free of charge. In between the busy schedule of training and working, they are making time to help raise awareness and funds to support our campers” states Hillary Carey, Executive Director for Camp Korey. “They are amazing role models in our communities.”

The TCS New York City Marathon had over 50,000 runners in 2014 racing along the streets of New York. Thanks to the generous support of Nestle Waters, Camp Korey was able to secure 40 spots for this popular race.
