A harvest celebration for Camp Korey

Success in 2011:

Over 300 guests gathered Saturday, September 17th, 2011 to celebrate a fruitful summer season at Camp Korey and toast to future growth. The evening kicked off with counselor-guided camp tours, during which guests enjoyed hors d’ouerves by Hyatt Regency Bellevue and sipped fine wines.

Throughout the night guests got a look into the heart of Camp Korey. We heard first-hand from a camper, parent and doctor who shared their stories and spoke to the healing power of camp. See for yourself in this video below thanking the Harnish Foundation for their incredible support:

Chef Brian Scheehser of Trellis Restaurant at the Heathman Hotel expertly orchestrated the ultimate farm-to-table dining experience.

Guests generously bid on one-of-a-kind items and raised the paddle to benefit our important mission.

Another highlight of the event was the Camper Stage Night. Six special campers were invited back to camp to showcase their talents to the welcoming crowd. Singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, and an art show all brought down the house with standing ovations.  Guests also enjoyed enchanting entertainment by singer Susan Robinson.

Thanks to our sponsors and supporters for making Grow a huge success. The event raised approximately $350,000 for Camp Korey and children with serious medical conditions!
