Family Weekends

Camp Korey hosts family weekends during the off-season from our Summer Camp sessions, typically during Spring and Fall.  Family Camp offers support and recreation for those affected by childhood medical conditions—which includes not just the individual child, but the entire family.  During family weekends, campers, siblings, parents and caregivers have the opportunity to bond with other families and take a break.

Spring 2012 family programs:

January 13th-15th - Skeletal Dysplasia Family Weekend
February 12th - Valentine’s Party / 2011 Camper Reunion (See invitation.)
March 30th-April 1st - Autism Family Weekend*
May 18th-20th - Sickle Cell Family Weekend

*Autism Family Weekend is open to children ages 7-14. We have a very limited number of spaces available (10). If you and your family are interested in applying, please contact Camper Recruiter, Laura Gehmen for more information. The application deadline for this program is March 1st.

If you are interested in participating in our spring programs as a medical or residential volunteers, please download and submit an application. (If you have previously volunteered or worked at Camp Korey, there is no need to complete an application, just contact our Camp Director.)
