Quilts

Your Quilts Make a Difference

Campers arrive at Camp Korey, many for their first experience away from home, with some nervousness or uncertainty.  Many kids have spent time at hospitals and doctors offices, and are not used to being surrounded by the freedom, encouragement, and joyful activities of camp.  Campers are shown to their rooms, and the first thing they see is a beautiful, handmade quilt and pillowcase sitting atop their bed.  It is a little piece of home, and it is theirs to keep.   We hear time and time again from parents that, after campers leave Camp Korey, they treasure their quilts and pillowcases.

These quilts are lovingly created and generously donated by members of a variety of local quilting groups.
