August 17 – 20, 2014
Thinking about doing something extraordinary for a worthy cause? In the state of Washington, it doesn’t get more extraordinary than climbing Mount Rainier! For the second year in a row, Camp Korey will be returning to Mount Rainier National Park, where eight climbers will summit Rainier in honor of the children at camp.
Permits to climb Mt. Rainier during peak season are expensive and hard to come by; but we’ve got you covered!
Each climber who commits to a minimum fundraising commitment of $5,000 will receive the following:
- Permit to climb Mt. Rainier from August 17 – 20, 2014
- Personal fundraising web page and Camp Korey’s fundraising toolkit
- Expert guide service from International Mountain Guides
- Breakfasts and dinners during the climb
- All training curriculum and instruction
- Group equipment including tents, stoves, climbing ropes, and group hardware
To reserve a space on the team, each individual must complete, sign and return the IMG Rainier Application to the Camp Korey office by April 1, 2014

In addition to the climbing experience, Camp Korey will also provide training climbs on local trails in the months leading up to the event, as well as a Climbing Day at camp, where team members can invite family, friends, and other donors to camp for a day of team-building, climbing, zip-lines, and all things summer camp.
Take a look at last year’s team and what the summit climb meant to them.
