Camp Korey offers a variety of programs for young adults whose lives have been impacted by serious illnesses or life-altering medical conditions. There is a dire lack of resources for young adults living with these experiences. We are thrilled to provide programming that fills such a great need, and hope to expand our offerings in the near future.
Young Adult Programs are also a special tribute to Camp Korey’s namesake, Korey Rose, who battled osteosarcoma as a teenager and passed away at age eighteen. The years between childhood and adulthood are difficult to navigate for those with serious illness, particularly as young adults struggle with difference and development at the same time. We offer respite and support for young adults at Camp Korey.
