“I think one of the delights in my life is to go to these camps and see the staff members who, I think, are some of the best part of America, who care for people who are less fortunate than they are.”

- Paul Newman

Our Mission

To honor the courage, strength, and determination of children and their families who battle life-threatening and serious illnesses; and to provide them with a safe, friendly, medically sound environment in which to simply have fun and be kids.

Camp 2010 Was Super!

Located on the historic Carnation Farm in Western Washington, Camp Korey is a nonprofit camp serving children and their families living with serious and life-threatening illnesses.  Camp Korey provides week-long summer camp sessions, hospital outreach, year-round programs, and family opportunities free of charge.

Camp Korey was founded in 2005 to honor the life of Korey Rose, who lost his battle to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at age 18.  Hundreds of children from the Pacific Northwest and beyond benefit from the safety, love, respect, and empowerment at Camp Korey, and the joy of spending a week at an incredible safe haven.
